extrunet: Start-up of the new tec-centre and tool shop !
A 5 month build program sees the completion of construction of the new tec-centre and tool shop finished which creates additional and the necessary free capacity.
In the new facility has now enough space and equipment available to manufacture the exflex tool components quicker and to ship a complete tool to the customer within 25 work days.
„We reached capacity with the old plant much sooner than planned. This necessitated bringing forward the building program because of capacity issues as well due the fact that customer requested more and more short lead times which gave use sometimes a head ache. The new addition plant will not only resolve the capacity issues, we also have our internal processes simplified and accelerated“
The tec-centre is already equipped with two complete extrusion lines:
For the technical profile extrusion and outputs up to around 100kg/h on rigid-PVC a complete modul line out of our own production will be used. The centrepiece is a single screw extruder modul-60, in combination with a calibration table and a 4kN belt puller with saw.
In the field of WPC extrusion an extruder of partner companies will find use to cover a range of 200-250 kg/h, to allow many applications with different profile geometries to be realized with wood-polymer-composites.
Two additional spaces for future extrusion lines have been already planned and infastructure installed to achieve the best possible flexibility in the tool tuning process and to react quickly on special customer needs and demands.
